skills, gaining confidence and motivation needed to be successfully employed, acquiring long-term employment, and achieving greater economic independence. In addition to engaging in general job skill development and employment preparedness, Circle City Clubhouse provides members the opportunity to pursue jobs through two different employment programs: Transitional Employment (TE) and Supported Employment (SE).
Transitional Employment
TE opportunities are part-time, temporary employment positions designed to help members regain confidence in their ability to work and help propel members towards more permanent, long-term work. Circle City Clubhouse staff manage all TE positions, which includes: learning the position, identifying a Clubhouse member to fill the position, providing on-site training and support for the Clubhouse member, providing ongoing support for the Clubhouse member and employer, and providing job coverage free of charge to the employer if the Clubhouse member is absent.
